Your Wedding Music & Entertainment
Please feel free to contact us for advise on music for your special day. Our musicians perform regularly at most of the major VENUES in the south of England and as a result, can offer good advise as to what works well (both practically and musically) in each particular venue. Kaleidoscope will also be pleased to discuss your CEREMONY MUSIC, for example the processional and recessional music along with the pieces to be performed during the signing of the register. If required, Kaleidoscope will discuss arrangements with the vicar, priest, registrar or organist in advance of the day. A popular combination for civil ceremonies (where an organ is unavailable), is our String Quartet or Palm Court Trio.
Choosing music to please all of your guests during the wedding breakfast and evening reception can be difficult. Again Kaleidoscope will provide you with a number of musical options and styles to choose from along with advise on how best to use your performers. As with organising any major event, there are always things you may have not thought about! Does the venue require a licence for more than two musicians to perform? Is there electricity available in the marquee and can it manage the demand from the band's PA and mixer desk? A growing number of venues are now fitted with sound restrictors, again with our experience we are able to advise on the type of combination capable of keeping below the cut off point.
Why not hand the running of the day over to one of our TOASTMASTERS. A Toastmaster (or master of ceremonies), will make sure your guests are kept informed of the arrangements for the day, keep an eye on the timings and suppliers, as well as announcing those all important welcomes, thanks, messages and of course speeches. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the special day!
When holding a reception in a particularly large venue or a marquee (where the acoustics are poor), many people over look the fact that guests may struggle to hear the speeches clearly, especially if the person speaking is not used to projecting his or her voice in public. The installation of a PA system with radio microphone can make sure that every word is clearly heard! Kaleidoscope can provide you with TECHNICAL SUPPORT by installing a high quality system managed by one of our highly experienced technicians, who will advise and control the equipment on the day. Please call for further information.
Of course, all our musicians and entertainers are protected by our public liability insurance.
