Wayne Ricardo Gibson started his musical career as a bass player on cruise ships around the Caribbean. As a member of several Barbadian Bands, he soon settled on the Steel Drums as his first love and has since developed to become a player of true quality and style.

Wayne performs as a soloist on the Double Tenor Pan using four sticks - this unusual technique allows him to play melody and harmony at the same time, as well as to expand his repertoire well beyond traditional Caribbean music.
