Glen Miller spent years arranging music and perfecting the correct combination of instruments to create his unique sound. Miller, and other Band leaders of the time became household names as the public’s appetite for their music grew throughout the War and into the 50s. Our carefully selected team of professional musicians recreate the sound of this golden era, performing to audiences at a number of prestigious events around the country.

The Kaleidoscope 1940’s Big Band usually perform as a 16 piece unit made up of Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone and Rhythm section. However for smaller venues, a 12 piece version is also available. The band regularly work with a range of inspiring vocalists who may also be booked to perform with the 1940’s Big Band.

Given the recent increase in the amount of dancing television and theatre shows, the number of dance classes around the UK have increased significantly, filling the dance floors at some events beyond capacity! In addition to the Band, we also provide a dance workshop instructor complete with a team of jive/swing dancers. Catering for all, starting with the basic steps to something a little more wild and technical!
